Vacation??

"Kids, pack your bags. We are going on a vacation", announced Dad.

"Oh no!"Who calls spiritual trips, vacations?", the kids grumbled, twitching their faces.

" I had booked tickets for Goa, now I am going to have to cancel.", Dad said, teasingly.

"GOA?! Why didn't you tell us before?Let's go, let's go", the kids pleaded and they left the same day.

" Are we really in Goa? Who knew Goa had temples?! And so MANY? You can't be doing this to us!!", the kids cribbed and cried, while their parents dragged them from one temple to another.

    Yup, south Goa has SOOOO many temples...:D :D But the north Goa is the area where the kids would probably wanna go...:D

    Ah.. brought back my childhood memories.. We would have LFCs arranged from my dad's bank, and all trips would be spiritual :)

    Being a Western going on a religious retreat to Goa, while getting away from work, might be considered a vacation to some.

      I hadn't thought of it that way Robin.

      But, for us Indians, Goa is one place that is full of beaches and never ending fun. This story talks about how our extra pious parents find temples even there. :)
